This position serves as NuMedia Marketing’s point of contact for our clients and vendors.

Bookkeeper

Description

NuMedia Marketing is sourcing for an experienced part-time bookkeeper.  Job duties include job costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, estimating and invoicing, and some general administrative tasks. Experience in QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required.

  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers for all accounts
  • Process payment for vendor invoicing in a timely manner
  • Monitor office expenses and enter receipts
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
  • Issue invoices and statements to customers
  • Ensure that receivables are processed promptly and accurately
  • Record cash receipts and prepare bank deposits
  • Complete monthly account reconciliations
  • Complete periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
  • Light administrative work including filing and building client relationships

Social Media & Website Manager

Description

As part of the NuMedia team, the Social Media & Website Manager will assist the Graphic & Web Developer in regularly updating clients’ websites and creating graphics for both client and internal social media feeds.

Primary Focus

The majority of the Social Media & Website Manager’s work will include:

  • Creating and scheduling graphics monthly for several social media accounts that include multiple profiles.
  • Editing and publishing graphics for blog posts to match client brand standards.
  • Maintaining clients’ websites through both client-requested changes and regular updates to ensure adherence to NuMedia’s best practice standards.

Job Responsibilities

If hired as the Social Media & Website Manager, you can expect to:

  • Consult social media editorials provided by NuMedia’s Copywriter to choose artwork/photography, design graphics, and schedule posts for a month’s worth of social media for a variety of platforms (Facebook, Google My Business, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and for multiple accounts.
  • Follow NuMedia’s process of social media graphic development and reviewing work with Graphic & Web Designer to ensure consistency across brands and account templates.
  • Communicate with Copywriter in cases of social media updates or changes.
  • Maintain an organized file system and design asset library for social media graphics.
  • Communicating with clients to complete regular WordPress website updates, including creating and editing pages, updating parent/child themes, and/or making minor content or design changes.

NuMedia Marketing is seeking a part-time graphic design/web development intern.  Job duties include general website maintenance, print and promo designs, electronic document filing and organizing, and web design. Experience with WordPress or comparable content management systems is required. Any eligible applicant must be currently enrolled as a student.
